Gravity

This week for writing we learned about gravity and what gravity is.
We are learning to use paragraphs.
I enjoyed learning things about gravity I never learned before.
I found it tricky to write some words because it keeps changing it to a different word.
My digital learning object shows that I can Ctrl + c and Ctrl + v onto my blog.

Why do we jump up but we don't float?

Gravity.
Gravity is a force, the natural pull of objects towards each other. A force is a push or pull acting against an object to move or change direction.
It is like super glue but you can't see it.

Boinks
(Boinks is a spring action toy)
When you squish the coil down and then let it go and then it will go up in the air and it goes down because of gravity.

Dropper poppers
Invert and drop the dome down with a ping pong ball. It will fly up then it will fly up then it will always come down because gravity pulls it back to earth.

No matter where you throw the ball it's going down.

Trinity Sunday

Today we drew a apple in our R.E. books it represents they trinity.

The trinity means 3 in 1.

The Father, the son and the Holy spirit.

I enjoyed labeling the apple.

I found it tricky to spell some of the words like nourishes.

I would change the colour of writing to black to make it stand out.

My digital learning object shows that can take a photo of my work and put it on my blog.

Today we did our May student reflection newsletter
I enjoyed making the trivia.
I found it hard to guess the points.
My digital object shows that I can fill in a google drawing of what I have done.

Bling Your Blogs

Today for cybersmart we blinged our blogs so we changed our background to one of the arts we have done this year. Also we changed our blogger header.
I found it easy to put my header on my blog.
I enjoyed making my header with the yellow background and a nice font.
I found it hard to do my background.

Homophones

WALT to recognise homophones.
I enjoyed finding out what homophones were.
I found it hard to think of where some of them go because they can be used for different things
I would change one of my answers.

There means is like where is the object like she is over there.
Their means something is theirs.
They're means that is is they are for short.

Pentecost

Today we made a dove out of orange, red and yellow and it also can be a flame.
I enjoyed making my dove/flame.
I found hard to make the shapes
I would change how I made the shapes.

On Pentecost the disciples met in a room and they heard a gust of wind and a flame settled on their heads and they could speak different languages . So they went outside ant told everyone about God.

Torch challenge

We were learning how to make an electric circuit and to make the light bulb glow.
WALT make a closed circuit
My group found it easy to tape the wires to the battery
My group found it hard to make the light bulb glow
Next time we would research.
Explanation
Where does electricity in your torch come from.
The electricity comes from wires and batteries and can power the light bulb but it will take some time to learn how to make it glow.

This is NOT what to do
First what we did was tape the wires to the battery and taped the wires together and put the lightbulb on there but it did not work.
We tried again in another way instead we twisted the wires a little bit and then taped on to the batterys but it did not work either
