Today we were learning about Henri Matisse
He is a painter from france sadly he died on the 3 November 1954.
We used primary colours and had to mix the colours to make our own we had yellow, white, blue, black, green, purple and other colours and we had to use white to get a light direction.
We outlined out artwork with black pastel.
I enjoyed painting the background and the table
I found hard to paint around the guitar.
I would change the colour of the guitar.
Here is my art.

The Beach On A Summer Month.
Yesterday we wrote a story and today we are publishing.
I enjoyed writing the story.
I found hard to think of some verbs and some similes.
I would change the sentence starters.
The Beach On A Summer Month
One day we were thinking about where we should go and we decided to go to the beach. We leaped in the car and zoomed to the beach. We hopped out. I was bare-footed and I was on concrete and it was so scorching I had to zoom to the water. It was so freezing it felt like ice.
I pounced on a log and then I ran back to the water. We played so much and forgot about time. We were playing and mum and dad shouted “Lets go kids!”
And we left. The stones were blowing and the wind was silent but the waves were still crashing like a car crash. We got in the car and drove away.
