For the past few weeks we have been learning about Pāoa and Kiwa and how they came to Gisborne. When Pāoa and Kiwa went near Young Nicks Head (which is what it is called today) It was called Te Kurī a Pāoa. because it looked like Pāoa's dog. When Captain Cook came to Gisborne he called it Young Nicks Head. We made some art about Pāoa's Dog. We had to blend and make colours that we didn't have like green. Have you ever used pastels to do a painting?

ReplyDeleteWell done for including the steps we did to create our Te Kurī a Pāoa. What are you most proud of? What would change if you did this again?
