Sign Language Week

This week is Sign Language Week. In Reading, we have been learning to analyse and synthesise. We read articles and watched videos. Then we combined the bits of information we needed. In one of the articles they called deaf people 'dumb' because that's what they said in the olden days. I felt sad when I read that because it would be mean to say that to people. They also banned sign language for a while. I think that was not fair because they couldn't communicate.

Because it is Sign Language Week we have been learning to Sign our names and learn common phrases.

It was very tricky to remember how to spell my name because I had to twist my hand so you could see what I was signing.
I enjoyed learning about Sign Language because I did not know how to spell my name.
My digital learning object shows that I can make a screencastify about Sign Language so I can teach people.
Here is my fail.
I did it wrong because I forgot the last part.

Here is my proper one!

I really liked your sign language videos because you were really good at explaining how to do your name. I also liked how you added more on the second video, especially the part where you said you were good.
I learnt how to say “I’m good” from your video this could be something I can add to my video before I upload it.
Maybe you could add good morning or good afternoon.
