Today for reading we were learning how to apply knowledge. Its learning that is used in various situations and contexts. We had three things to choose from. I chose to make the jumping cicada game. There was a video on the class site that had the instructions of how to make the game. I found it easy to follow the video so the game was right. I found it tricky to find a cicada because there was no cicada on scratch so I used the closest thing possible which was grasshopper.
Here is my game.

ReplyDeleteSo nice to see your online learning. I like how you have explained why you chose the cicada, because it was the closest to a grasshopper. Were you reading about grasshoppers?
Great coding, you're such an expert at making these games. The highest score I could get on your game was 4. The cicada's foot kept touching the apple, I think I just need more practise.
I helped Torbyn today. The video tutorial was very helpful, and it took us 1.5hours to complete his game, but with a lot of perseverance we got it done.
Look forward to seeing more of your online learning,
