J.K Rowling - Writing

This week for writing we have been learning to make links between our paragraphs. Because of lockdown we had to start our plan and writing again. We had to choose an author that we liked and had to write a fact file about the chosen author. I chose J.K Rowling because she Is my favourite author. She wrote all seven Harry Potter books and I'm obsessed with Harry potter so I had to chose her. I wanted to all a little piece to the end to make it a bit longer.
I enjoyed writing about her and I'm happy about the Wow fact - You will have to read on to find out!
I found it tricky to find all the information again because It was all im my writing book.

Famous for:  Writing the Harry Potter Series and Screenwriter


Childhood: J.K Rowling had a happy childhood, although remembering being teased about her name “Rowling”. She recalls being called “Rolling Pin” by her school friends. She has one sibling named Dianne Rowling.


Adulthood:  J.K Rowling has had many jobs like being a teacher, novelist, Children book author, screenwriter and a film producer.  She has three children, 2 daughters and 1 son.


Wow Fact: Did you know that J.K Rowling thought of the idea of Harry Potter on a train?


Books Written:  J.K Rowling has Published Seven Harry Potter books. All seven books have been made into Movies

    Great to see you are doing some wonderful lockdown learning. I agree Joanne is a great author. I love your wow fact! I wonder what gave her the idea on the train.
